The central theme of my research is the application of concepts from Iterated Function Systems (IFSs) to the dynamics of complex systems. The long term goals are the development of the theoretical tools required for the analytical design of artificial neural networks and other large scale assemblies of interacting agents. Learning and adaptation will be components of the behavior of these systems, but not the central design paradigm. |

Assistant Professor, Fatih University,Management Department, 34500 Buyukcekmece, Istanbul. I have been recently working on the PSO to apply it to the production scheduling problems. I have already applied the binary PSO to the simple, single level lot sizing problem. Results are competitive with the Wagner-Whitin optimal results. I have already applied the PSO to the flowshop scheduling problem and the single machine weighted/unweighted tardiness problems using the benchmarks problems in the literature |
